Centre of Integrated Legal Services and Practices is a civil society organization established in December 2004

The mission of the Centre of Integrated Legal Services and Practices includes helping vulnerable people, especially children, to access justice through provision of free legal assistance and psychological services and other social services, as well as contributing to the justice system development through creation of knowledge, provision of technical expertise and development of capacity building programs. 

CILSP operates throughout Albania.

Assisted and supported from different donors, CILSP has continued to provide different interventions and to extend them in terms of geographic coverage and variability of services.

The activity of CILSP in these years has been supported by Terre des hommes Albania, UNHCR, World Vision, UNICEF, US Embassy in Tirana, USAID, European Union Delegation in Albania, ANTTARCUNDP    and SOS Villages Albania

 

 

 

 

 

 

Current projects:

 

Since 2020, CILSP is implementing a project focused on primary and secondary legal aid, mediation as well. This project is supported by UNDP. In the frame of this project located in Gjirokastra, Saranda, Permet and Delvina, CILSP is providing free legal aid both primary and secondary for vulnerable groups. Psycho social assistance and especially mediation services is also a focus of the project. Moreover, many awareness activities have been conducted in this regard with community members and professionals as well. The community (about 700 citizens) will be provided with qualitative services, which will fulfil their legal needs and will improve their access to justice and will empower community to seek for their rights. Besides legal services, they will be referred to other supporting services such as mediation. Advocacy interventions will aim at the more referral of cases and also will serve to create a link between FLA, different legal aid providers from one side and mediation services on the other side.
